Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi) to ensure high availability and performance.
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions to protect against cyber threats.
- Monitor network traffic, detect anomalies, and respond to security incidents in real time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.
- Configure and optimize routers, switches, and load balancers for efficient data flow.
- Develop and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot network issues and ensure minimal downtime.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on network and security best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in network administration, cybersecurity, or IT infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, or Fortinet networking devices and security appliances.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and subnetting.
- Experience with firewall management (Palo Alto, Check Point, etc.) and SIEM tools.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios).
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CEH, or CISSP are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
