Responsibility
- Implement, configure, and validate network security controls, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Design and enforce network segmentation and access policies to minimize risk and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Manage and oversee external VAPT vendors, including scoping, execution, and remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
- Monitor network traffic and security logs for suspicious activity, investigating and resolving incidents promptly.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for network and security infrastructure.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments, providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into IT projects and initiatives.
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and trends, proposing proactive measures to mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in network administration, with a strong focus on security.
- Proven expertise in configuring and managing security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection).
- Hands-on experience with VAPT processes, vulnerability management, and remediation workflows.
- Proficiency in network protocols, segmentation, and access control (e.g., ACLs, VLANs, Zero Trust).
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNA Security, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
