Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright for web applications.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test scenarios, define automation strategies, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code for automated test scripts, following best practices in software development.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster release cycles.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues promptly.
- Optimize test execution performance and reduce flakiness in automated tests.
- Document test cases, automation processes, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in test automation and recommend improvements to existing frameworks.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in QA automation, with a strong focus on Playwright or similar tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Familiarity with API testing (e.g., Postman, RestAssured) and database testing is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, remote environment.
