Responsibility
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Data Governance: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of data across all systems, implementing best practices for data quality and validation.
- Strategic Insights: Translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights and present findings to senior stakeholders to support business strategy.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Design, develop, and maintain advanced reporting tools, dashboards, and KPIs to track performance and drive data-informed decisions.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting processes for greater efficiency and scalability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, finance, operations, and other departments to align analytics initiatives with business objectives.
- Tool & Technology Evaluation: Assess and recommend new analytics tools, methodologies, and technologies to enhance team capabilities.
- Compliance & Ethics: Uphold data privacy standards (e.g., GDPR, local regulations) and ensure ethical handling of sensitive information.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: Minimum 5 years in data analytics, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in SQL, Python, R, or similar languages; advanced skills in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Data Visualization: Strong ability to create compelling visualizations and reports that communicate insights effectively to non-technical audiences.
- Analytical Mindset: Exceptional problem-solving skills with a knack for identifying trends, patterns, and root causes in large datasets.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, delegate tasks, and drive projects from conception to completion.
- Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business operations and the ability to align data strategies with organizational goals.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Communication: Fluent English (written and verbal) with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
