Responsibility
- Design, configure, and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructures, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Implement and optimize VLANs, network segmentation, and STP to enhance performance and redundancy.
- Deploy and manage LAG/LACP for high-availability network links.
- Develop and enforce ACLs and firewall rules to secure network traffic and prevent unauthorized access.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to align network configurations with industry-standard security frameworks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, including Wi-Fi connectivity, latency, and security vulnerabilities.
- Document network architectures, configurations, and procedures for compliance and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in network infrastructure support or engineering.
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, VLAN, STP, LAG/LACP, and ACLs.
- Experience configuring and managing firewalls, routers, and switches (Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), and network security best practices.
- Familiarity with Wi-Fi standards (802.11ac/ax), authentication protocols (WPA2/WPA3), and wireless security.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
