Responsibility
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance systems architecture to support business growth and innovation.
- Oversee the development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices in coding, security, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with product and business teams to translate requirements into technical roadmaps and execution plans.
- Mentor and guide senior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Drive DevOps and cloud infrastructure strategies to enhance scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in software development.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Act as a technical spokesperson for the company, representing PLEASED TECHNOLOGIES OPC in industry events and client engagements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a technical leadership or architecture role.
- Proven expertise in systems architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and microservices design.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, Go, or Node.js.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Deep understanding of security best practices, data protection, and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Remote work experience and a proactive, self-driven approach to leadership.
