Responsibility
- Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless networks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Manage and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
- Implement and enforce network security policies, protocols, and best practices to safeguard company data.
- Provide technical support and resolve network-related issues for end-users and departments.
- Collaborate with IT teams to plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and migrations.
- Document network configurations, changes, and procedures for compliance and future reference.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Network Administrator or in a similar IT role.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP) and technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or other network devices and tools.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
