As our IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our Linux and Microsoft 365 environments, implementing best practices for security, performance, and scalability. Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux-based servers and Microsoft 365 environments to ensure high availability and performance.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively resolve infrastructure-related problems.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls for Microsoft 365 and internal systems.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement and enforce security policies, patch management, and compliance standards.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python) to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and internal teams on IT-related issues.
- Document system configurations, processes, and incident reports to maintain knowledge base and operational continuity.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and upgrades to enhance IT infrastructure capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure administration, with expertise in Linux and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python) for automation and system management.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls) and cloud services (Azure, AWS).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Familiarity with IT security best practices, including patch management, vulnerability assessments, and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CompTIA Linux+, or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) are highly desirable.
