Responsibility
- Oversee the daily operations of Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and hardware to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, and network systems in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement system upgrades, patches, and security measures to safeguard hospital data.
- Monitor system performance and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
- Provide technical support and training to hospital staff to ensure proficient use of IT systems.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for the procurement, installation, and maintenance of IT equipment.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare IT regulations and standards to maintain data integrity and security.
- Participate in IT projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the hospital's technological capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and healthcare IT infrastructure.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications in IT (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus.
- Familiarity with IT security best practices and compliance standards in healthcare.
