Responsibility
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements for IT systems and solutions.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and work closely with development teams to ensure alignment with technical capabilities.
- Design, develop, and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Operational Readiness Testing (ORT) to validate system functionality and performance.
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend IT solutions to enhance productivity, accuracy, and scalability.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes by end-users.
- Monitor and evaluate system performance post-implementation, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business analysis and IT systems.
- Maintain clear and concise documentation, including process flows, system diagrams, and user manuals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role, with a focus on IT systems and business process improvement.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, UAT, and ORT, with a strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with business process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Familiarity with SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools is a plus.
- Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) are highly desirable.
