Responsibility
- Conduct regular IT audits to assess compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of IT controls, including access management, data security, and system configurations.
- Identify and document risks, vulnerabilities, and control deficiencies, providing recommendations for remediation.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement audit findings and monitor corrective actions.
- Perform risk assessments for new and existing IT systems, applications, and infrastructure.
- Assist in the development and update of IT audit methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on emerging IT risks, cybersecurity threats, and regulatory changes affecting the financial sector.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT auditing, risk management, or cybersecurity within the financial sector.
- Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST).
- Proficiency in audit tools, data analysis techniques, and IT control assessment methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance standards is highly desirable.
