Responsibility
- Manage the procurement, deployment, and retirement of IT hardware/software assets.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using asset management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Snipe-IT).
- Ensure compliance with licensing agreements and vendor contracts.
- Conduct regular audits to track asset utilization and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve asset-related issues and optimize workflows.
- Develop and enforce IT asset policies and procedures.
- Generate reports on asset performance, costs, and lifecycle status.
- Support IT security initiatives by monitoring asset vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in IT asset management or inventory control.
- Proficiency in asset management software (e.g., ServiceNow, Snipe-IT).
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Certifications (e.g., IAITAM, ITIL) are a plus.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal).
