Responsibility
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mobile applications (iOS/Android) and web platforms.
- Design and implement automated test frameworks using tools like Appium, Selenium, or Playwright to improve test efficiency and coverage.
- Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools to validate backend integrations and data accuracy.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and work with developers to resolve issues.
- Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to ensure applications meet scalability and reliability standards.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and UX designers to define quality metrics and acceptance criteria.
- Mentor junior QA team members and promote best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
- Stay updated with industry trends in mobile testing, automation, and CI/CD pipelines to drive process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on mobile application testing (iOS/Android).
- Proven expertise in test automation using tools like Appium, Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and understanding of RESTful APIs.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in CI/CD environments.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java) for test automation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to articulate technical issues clearly.
- ISTQB or other QA certifications are a plus.
