Responsibility
- Oversee daily inventory operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure data accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with warehousing and logistics teams to streamline processes and improve operational workflows.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards in all inventory-related activities.
- Train and supervise inventory staff to maintain high performance and adherence to best practices.
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems to enhance tracking and reporting capabilities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Inventory Supervisor, Inventory Manager, or similar role in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including stock control, auditing, and reporting.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in record-keeping and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
