Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Organize and store inventory in designated locations using FIFO (First-In-First-Out) or other inventory management systems.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of stock levels, movements, and discrepancies using digital or manual tracking systems.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for distribution, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts to reconcile inventory records and identify variances.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and in compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to optimize inventory flow and reduce waste.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards, including proper handling of perishable goods (if applicable).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data accurately.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy items (up to 25-50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., inventory software, MS Excel) and familiarity with barcode scanners.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in warehouse settings is advantageous.
