Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through regular stock reconciliation and cycle counting.
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize losses and enhance accuracy.
- Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to align inventory levels with demand forecasts.
- Conduct physical audits and investigate variances, providing actionable recommendations.
- Utilize inventory management software to track stock movements and update records in real time.
- Assist in the development and optimization of warehouse layout and storage systems for efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or custom ERP systems).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments.
- Knowledge of lean inventory principles and best practices in supply chain management.
