Responsibility
- Develop and implement inventory planning strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs across multiple locations in Bali and Southeast Asia.
- Analyze demand forecasts and historical data to ensure accurate inventory replenishment and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to align inventory levels with business objectives and customer demand.
- Monitor and report on key inventory performance metrics, including turnover rates, fill rates, and obsolescence, with actionable insights for improvement.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain data accuracy and compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Identify process inefficiencies in the supply chain and propose data-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
- Support the implementation of inventory management software and tools to streamline tracking, reporting, and forecasting processes.
- Assist in the development of contingency plans for supply chain disruptions, ensuring business continuity in dynamic market conditions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in inventory planning, demand forecasting, or supply chain management, preferably in trading, manufacturing, or logistics sectors.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis) and experience with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets to identify trends and anomalies.
- Proven problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to process improvement and cost optimization.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting, with a high degree of self-motivation and time management.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, or Malay) are a plus.
