Responsibility
- Source, negotiate, and procure direct materials (raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies) to support manufacturing operations, ensuring cost efficiency and quality compliance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, conducting regular performance evaluations and resolving any issues related to delivery, pricing, or quality.
- Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and supply chain risks to proactively mitigate disruptions and optimize procurement strategies.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance teams to forecast demand, align inventory levels, and ensure seamless material availability.
- Prepare and manage purchase orders, contracts, and agreements in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct supplier audits, assess new vendors, and recommend improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and sustainability.
- Analyze procurement data, generate reports, and present insights to management to support data-driven decision-making.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including pricing, lead times, and supplier performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to secure favorable terms and pricing from suppliers.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Indonesian procurement regulations and import/export processes is highly desirable.
