Responsibility
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
- Coordinate line workload, staffing, and material usage based on production priorities and demand forecasts.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production associates to achieve performance targets and operational excellence.
- Monitor and optimize production processes to minimize downtime and maximize output.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, quality assurance, and engineering, to streamline workflows.
- Implement and enforce company policies, safety protocols, and best practices on the production floor.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, environmental standards, and company guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proven track record of leading teams, improving operational efficiency, and meeting production targets.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using production management software and ERP systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with industry-specific safety and quality standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA).
