Responsibility
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align inventory with demand forecasts and business objectives.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures, including cycle counting, audits, and reconciliation.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Utilize inventory management software to track stock movements, generate reports, and ensure data accuracy.
- Collaborate with suppliers and logistics partners to streamline inbound and outbound inventory processes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support seamless operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements related to inventory management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or supply chain coordination.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and process improvement.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of lean inventory principles and best practices is a plus.
