Responsibility
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure accuracy and alignment with demand forecasts.
- Conduct regular systemic audits and physical inventory counts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize stockouts, overstock, and obsolescence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (warehouse, procurement, sales) to optimize inventory turnover and reduce carrying costs.
- Generate comprehensive reports on inventory performance, trends, and KPIs for management review.
- Utilize ERP or WMS software to track inventory movements, transactions, and adjustments.
- Investigate root causes of inventory variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or supply chain analytics.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of lean inventory principles, ABC analysis, and demand planning is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with barcode scanning, RFID, or automation tools is advantageous.
