Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across multiple warehouses and production sites.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to forecast demand and optimize stock levels.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize losses and improve turnover.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and finished goods.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements related to inventory management.
- Utilize inventory management software to track stock movements, updates, and transactions.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role within the manufacturing or logistics sector.
- Strong proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners.
- Knowledge of lean inventory principles and just-in-time (JIT) methodologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with local and international logistics regulations and best practices.
