Responsibility
- Oversee and manage daily inventory operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in stock levels.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and optimize stock turnover.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials and products.
- Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to verify inventory accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize inventory management software to track stock movements, generate reports, and forecast demand.
- Develop and enforce policies to reduce waste, prevent stockouts, and improve overall inventory performance.
- Train and supervise inventory staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with senior management to align inventory strategies with business goals and operational needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role within the manufacturing or logistics sector.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities to manage teams and workflows effectively.
- Knowledge of best practices in inventory control, including FIFO, JIT, and cycle counting.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Certification in inventory management (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
