Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using advanced inventory management software.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with system data.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems to enhance space utilization and accessibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or ERP systems).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of FIFO, LIFO, and other inventory valuation methods.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or food production industry standards is a plus.
