Responsibility
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate QA documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Assist in the Halal certification process, including document compilation, submission, and follow-up with certifying bodies.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure all products meet Halal and quality requirements before distribution.
- Conduct regular audits of documentation to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Support the development and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for QA and Halal compliance.
- Liaise with external auditors, Halal certification agencies, and regulatory authorities as required.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance with Halal and quality standards.
- Assist in training staff on QA protocols, Halal requirements, and documentation best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in QA, documentation, or compliance, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or Halal certification.
- Strong understanding of Halal certification processes and regulatory requirements (e.g., MUI, JAKIM, or international standards).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and experience with QA software or documentation systems is a plus.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian or Malay is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
