Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using advanced inventory management systems.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies between system data and actual stock levels.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment of supplies and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, forecast demand, and recommend improvements.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize loss, damage, or misplacement of goods.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to organize and label inventory for efficient retrieval and tracking.
- Assist in the development and optimization of inventory processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve inventory-related issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in inventory control, warehouse management, or supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of FIFO/LIFO inventory methods and best practices in stock management.
- Familiarity with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) for data analysis and reporting.
