Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across 13 locations, ensuring alignment with production and distribution demands.
- Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for stock movement, receipt, and dispatch.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Develop and maintain real-time inventory reports using ERP or WMS systems for management review.
- Investigate and resolve stock variances, losses, or shrinkage with corrective action plans.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards in all inventory-related activities.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance accuracy, speed, and cost-effectiveness in stock control.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or stock coordination.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or custom ERP systems).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to liaise with cross-functional departments.
- Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset to address stock discrepancies proactively.
- Knowledge of lean inventory principles and best practices in stock optimization.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
