As an Inventory Clerk, you will play a critical role in optimizing store performance by preventing stock discrepancies and streamlining the movement of goods. Responsibility
- Monitor daily stock movement and update inventory records in the management system with 100% accuracy.
- Perform regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies against digital records.
- Coordinate with procurement and floor staff to ensure timely replenishment of high-demand items.
- Prepare comprehensive daily and weekly inventory reports for store management.
- Oversee the receiving, labeling, and shelving of incoming goods to maintain organized storage areas.
- Identify slow-moving stock or expired products and report findings to prevent waste.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse and retail safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM or Diploma holder in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or retail operations is a strong advantage.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic inventory software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify numerical errors quickly.
- Physical capability to handle stock items and stand for extended periods during stock takes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Must be based in or willing to commute to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
