Responsibility
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile findings with the company’s internal system records.
- Analyze stock discrepancies to identify root causes, such as shrinkage, damage, or administrative errors.
- Evaluate existing inventory control policies and provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Prepare detailed audit reports for management highlighting findings, risks, and proposed solutions.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) regarding inventory handling and storage.
- Assist in the implementation of internal controls to prevent inventory loss and improve resource allocation.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth inventory movement and accurate data reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in inventory auditing, cycle counting, or internal audit roles.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective reporting.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time efficiently.
- Experience with ERP or inventory management systems is highly preferred.
