Responsibility
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure accuracy and optimize stock availability.
- Develop and maintain inventory reports, forecasts, and performance metrics using data analytics tools.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to align inventory with demand and supply chain needs.
- Identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement in inventory turnover and carrying costs.
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimize losses, obsolescence, and excess stock.
- Conduct regular audits and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
- Recommend process enhancements to improve efficiency in warehouse and cold storage operations.
- Support in the preparation of budgets and cost analysis related to inventory management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as an Inventory Analyst, Supply Chain Analyst, or similar role in manufacturing or logistics.
- Proficiency in inventory management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of cold storage or perishable goods inventory management is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.
