Responsibility
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, clinical users, and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications for InterSystems HealthShare implementations.
- Design and configure HealthShare solutions to support health information exchange (HIE) and interoperability initiatives.
- Conduct gap analysis between existing systems and desired outcomes, recommending solutions to bridge identified gaps.
- Provide functional expertise during system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live support.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including workflow diagrams, user manuals, and training materials.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives and technical standards.
- Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Techno-Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role in healthcare IT.
- Proven experience with InterSystems HealthShare or similar health information exchange (HIE) platforms.
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical data standards (HL7, FHIR), and interoperability frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable solutions.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with requirements gathering, process modeling, and documentation tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio).
- Certification in InterSystems HealthShare or related healthcare IT solutions is a plus.
