Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategies to identify and enter new international markets, with a focus on Mandarin-speaking regions.
- Manage end-to-end export processes, including documentation, customs clearance, and compliance with local and international trade regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas distributors, importers, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth market entry.
- Conduct market research to assess demand, competition, and regulatory requirements in target regions.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of trade with international partners to maximize profitability and market share.
- Collaborate with internal teams (legal, logistics, finance) to ensure seamless execution of export activities.
- Prepare and submit required government export formalities, permits, and certifications in a timely manner.
- Provide regular reports on market trends, trade barriers, and opportunities for business expansion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Trade, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in international trade, export/import operations, or business development, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is mandatory; proficiency in English is required.
- Strong knowledge of international trade laws, export controls, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage with global stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and regulatory requirements.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed to support business development activities.
