Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with international suppliers to secure high-quality materials at competitive prices.
- Prepare and process import/export documentation, ensuring compliance with local and international trade regulations.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to optimize shipping schedules, reduce lead times, and minimize costs.
- Monitor supplier performance, conduct regular audits, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to align with company goals and market demands.
- Track inventory levels and forecast supply needs to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Resolve procurement-related issues, including delays, quality discrepancies, or contractual disputes.
- Stay updated on global trade trends, tariffs, and regulatory changes affecting import operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in an international or import-focused role.
- Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and trade compliance.
- Proven negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms with suppliers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with global stakeholders.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Indonesian) are a plus.
