Responsibility
- Manage and coordinate international shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and documentation requirements.
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and carriers to optimize shipping routes and reduce costs.
- Oversee the preparation and verification of shipping documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Monitor shipment schedules and track deliveries to ensure timely arrival and distribution.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to manage inventory levels and facilitate smooth receipt and dispatch of goods.
- Resolve any logistics-related issues, such as delays or discrepancies, in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and delivery performance for reporting and analysis.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve logistics processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in international logistics, shipping, or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, import/export procedures, and international trade compliance.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with stakeholders across different regions.
- Proficient in using logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills to address logistics challenges.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
