Responsibility
- Develop and implement material planning strategies to align with production schedules and demand forecasts.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery of raw materials and components.
- Monitor and optimize inventory levels to minimize excess stock while preventing shortages.
- Conduct root cause analysis for material delays or discrepancies and propose corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to streamline workflows and reduce lead times.
- Maintain accurate material tracking systems and generate reports for management review.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective contracts without compromising quality or delivery timelines.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements for material handling and storage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in material control, inventory management, or procurement within manufacturing or automotive industries.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong understanding of Just-in-Time (JIT), Kanban, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, Six Sigma, or other quality management frameworks is a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia or Mandarin is advantageous.
