Responsibility
- Plan, execute, and report on audit engagements for the bankās business units and departments, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and assess risks, control weaknesses, and opportunities for process improvements, providing actionable recommendations to management.
- Develop and maintain audit programs, checklists, and documentation to support thorough and efficient audit processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather evidence, analyze data, and validate findings during audit engagements.
- Prepare clear, concise, and professional audit reports for senior management and the Board of Directors, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely resolution.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to enhance the effectiveness of the internal audit function.
- Support special investigations and ad-hoc projects as required by management or regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CIA, CPA, CISA) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in internal auditing, risk management, or financial compliance within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of banking operations, regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel III, AML, KYC), and internal control principles.
- Proficient in audit methodologies, risk assessment techniques, and data analysis tools (e.g., ACL, IDEA, Excel).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
