Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive audits of oil palm plantation operations to assess compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify risks and control gaps in plantation processes, recommending actionable solutions to mitigate them.
- Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions for management review.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement audit recommendations and monitor their effectiveness.
- Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of financial and operational controls within the plantation.
- Assist in the development and update of internal audit policies, procedures, and methodologies.
- Conduct surprise audits and investigations as needed to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting the oil palm sector.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably in the agricultural or plantation sector.
- Professional certification such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or equivalent is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills in English.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel to plantation sites as required.
