Responsibility
- Lead and manage the general ledger process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
- Process complex financial transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and finalize period-end reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Provide guidance and training to junior team members on general ledger processes.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
- Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in general ledger accounting or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Certification such as CPA or ACCA is a plus.
