Responsibility
- Assist the audit team in conducting routine internal audits across various operational and functional departments.
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive audit working papers and documentation to support audit findings.
- Conduct physical stock counts and asset verification as part of periodic audit procedures.
- Assist in identifying control weaknesses and suggesting practical improvements to operational processes.
- Support the follow-up process to ensure that management has implemented agreed-upon audit recommendations.
- Help maintain organized records of audit evidence and correspondence for departmental review.
- Participate in special investigations or ad-hoc assignments as directed by the Internal Audit Manager.
- Ensure compliance with internal standard operating procedures (SOPs) and relevant statutory regulations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; prior experience in audit or accounting is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and professional integrity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Melayu.
- Willingness to travel to various plantation sites or operational offices as required by audit engagements.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
