Responsibility
- Prepare and lodge Australian tax returns (individual, company, trust, and SMSF)
- Compile financial statements and BAS/IAS reports in compliance with ATO regulations
- Conduct tax research and provide advisory services to Australian clients
- Assist with tax planning strategies and compliance reviews
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
- Collaborate with senior accountants on complex tax matters
- Stay updated on Australian tax law changes and industry best practices
- Liaise with clients and tax authorities as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in Australian tax accounting
- Familiarity with Australian tax software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, Class)
- Strong knowledge of ATO compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- CA/CPA qualification or progress toward certification is a plus
