Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for electronic test and measurement equipment, ensuring efficiency, quality, and scalability.
- Collaborate with R&D, procurement, and supply chain teams to streamline production workflows and reduce costs without compromising quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve yield rates.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to enhance operational performance.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including work instructions, SOPs, and process validation reports, ensuring compliance with industry standards (ISO, IPC).
- Support new product introductions (NPI) by providing manufacturing input during design phases and ensuring smooth transitions to mass production.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track manufacturing efficiency, quality, and safety metrics.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, test engineering, or production operations, preferably in a high-tech or semiconductor environment.
- Hands-on experience with SMT processes, PCB assembly, and test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers).
- Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks), ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel).
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 9001, IPC-A-610, and ANSI/ESD S20.20.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural team.
