As the Interior Design Manager, you will spearhead the conceptualization, development, and execution of cutting-edge design solutions that align with client visions and industry trends. Responsibility
- Lead the development of interior design concepts for retail, commercial, and hospitality projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand identity.
- Oversee project management from schematic design to final installation, including budgeting, timelines, and vendor coordination.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate functional and aesthetic elements seamlessly.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate space requirements, feasibility, and material suitability.
- Present design proposals, mood boards, and 3D renderings to clients and stakeholders, securing approvals and refining concepts as needed.
- Source and specify high-quality materials, furnishings, and finishes that meet project standards and sustainability goals.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity, precision, and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in interior design, with at least 2 years in a managerial role for retail or commercial projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), and 3D rendering software.
- Strong portfolio showcasing completed commercial or retail design projects with a focus on luxury or high-end markets.
- Excellent project management, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Deep understanding of materials, construction methods, and cost estimation.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and LEED certification is advantageous.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
