Responsibility
- Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose E&I-related issues in production equipment, implementing timely solutions to minimize downtime.
- Calibrate, test, and adjust instrumentation devices (e.g., sensors, transmitters, controllers) to meet precision standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to plan and execute maintenance schedules without disrupting operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities, including work orders, test results, and compliance reports.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations (e.g., ISO, GMP) during all maintenance tasks.
- Recommend and implement upgrades or modifications to improve system reliability and efficiency.
- Provide technical support and training to operational staff on E&I best practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Instrument Technician or in a similar E&I maintenance role, preferably in manufacturing or healthcare industries.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, P&ID diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Hands-on experience with calibration tools (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, HART communicators) and PLC systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Willingness to work in shift patterns and adhere to on-call duties as required.
