Responsibility
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate coding lessons to children (ages 6-14) using Koding Next’s proprietary curriculum.
- Foster a fun, interactive, and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and skill levels.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to both students and parents.
- Collaborate with the curriculum team to refine and improve lesson plans based on student needs.
- Organize and lead coding workshops, hackathons, or other extracurricular activities.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in child education and coding methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience teaching children, preferably in STEM, coding, or technology-related subjects.
- Strong understanding of basic programming concepts (e.g., Scratch, Python, Blockly) and child-friendly teaching tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage young learners.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Familiarity with project-based learning and gamification in education is a plus.
- Fluency in English (additional proficiency in Indonesian is advantageous).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if required.
