Responsibility
- Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate coding lessons for students from primary to high school levels.
- Teach foundational programming concepts (e.g., algorithms, loops, conditionals) using tools like Scratch, Blockly, or text-based languages (Python, JavaScript).
- Develop and update curriculum materials to align with global coding standards and student learning outcomes.
- Foster a creative and inclusive classroom environment that encourages problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration.
- Assess student progress through projects, quizzes, and hands-on coding challenges, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to integrate coding into broader STEM subjects (e.g., math, science, robotics).
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and educational trends to enhance teaching methods.
- Organize and participate in coding competitions, workshops, or extracurricular activities to inspire student interest.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience teaching coding, programming, or IT-related subjects to children or teenagers.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java) and familiarity with visual coding tools (Scratch, Blockly).
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for young learners.
- Passion for education and technology, with a patient, adaptable, and creative teaching approach.
- Experience with project-based learning, gamification, or interactive teaching methods is a plus.
- Familiarity with STEM/STEAM education frameworks or certifications (e.g., CSTA, ISTE) is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced, innovative learning environment.
