Responsibility
- Set up, adjust, and operate injection molding machines to meet production specifications.
- Perform mold changes, tooling adjustments, and machine calibrations to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor production processes to maintain quality standards and minimize defects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to molding machines and tooling.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to prevent downtime and ensure machine longevity.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to improve processes and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, machine settings, and maintenance activities.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Injection Molding Setup Technician or similar role in manufacturing.
- Strong technical knowledge of injection molding machines, tooling, and processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Familiarity with safety standards and quality control procedures.
- Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to production demands.
- Certification or vocational training in injection molding or related fields is a plus.
