In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the injection molding process—from initial machine setup and parameter optimization to continuous monitoring and troubleshooting. Responsibility
- Set up, start up, and shut down plastic injection molding machines in accordance with production schedules and safety protocols.
- Monitor machine performance to ensure products meet strict quality standards and tolerance specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the molding process, including mold changes and parameter adjustments.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize cycle times and reduce material waste.
- Maintain accurate production records, logs, and maintenance reports.
- Ensure compliance with all occupational health and safety guidelines within the manufacturing plant.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent technical field).
- At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in injection molding operations.
- In-depth knowledge of molding parameters, thermoplastic materials, and mold designs.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instruction manuals.
- Willingness to work on shifts and respond to technical emergencies as required.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety regulations (OSHA/ISO standards).
