Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a high-performing infrastructure team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable IT infrastructure (servers, networks, cloud services) to support business operations.
- Oversee the implementation of DevOps practices, automation, and CI/CD pipelines to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure strategies with business objectives and growth plans.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, security protocols, and compliance standards to safeguard company data and assets.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and cloud services.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives by evaluating and adopting cutting-edge technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and system administration (Linux/Windows, firewalls, VPNs, etc.).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Certifications in AWS/Azure, ITIL, or CISSP are highly desirable.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and lead teams with empathy and clarity.
