Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain data center infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, and cooling systems.
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, resolving them in a timely manner.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and upgrading of data center equipment.
- Follow security protocols to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance.
- Document all maintenance activities, incidents, and resolutions for future reference.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement system improvements and upgrades.
- Work in 12-hour shifts to ensure 24/7 data center operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data center operations or a related IT field.
- Strong knowledge of server hardware, networking, and cooling systems.
- Familiarity with data center security protocols and best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, CCNA, or similar are a plus.
- Physical ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
