Join Meditama Metropolitan Facilities as an Infection Prevention and Control Nurse (IPCN) Officer in the heart of Bali. As an IPCN Officer, you will play a pivotal role in mitigating healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) by developing evidence-based policies, conducting risk assessments, and leading training programs for healthcare personnel. Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor infection control policies and procedures in compliance with national and international standards.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential infection control breaches and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead training sessions and workshops for medical staff on best practices in infection prevention, hygiene, and sterilization techniques.
- Investigate and manage outbreaks of infectious diseases within the facility, including contact tracing and isolation protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to infection control guidelines in all clinical and non-clinical areas.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on infection control activities, including surveillance data and incident reports.
- Stay updated on emerging infectious diseases and incorporate the latest research into facility protocols.
- Advise senior management on infection control strategies and resource allocation to minimize risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (S.Kep) with a valid Indonesian nursing license (STR).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in infection control, epidemiology, or a related field in a healthcare setting.
- Certification in Infection Control (e.g., CIC) or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local and international infection control standards (e.g., WHO, CDC, Kemenkes RI).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management tools for reporting and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
